Marsh Grass Shawl

$10.00

• Fingering/sock yarn • Lace and texture *

Marsh Grass was inspired by the quiet movement and layered textures of coastal marshlands. The design combines intermediate-level lace with rich textured stitches—each with a name derived from the plants that inspired them so that you can feel connected to the beautiful marsh landscape as you knit.

The pattern has been thoughtfully prepared with lots of detail:

• User-friendly, detailed instructions, with stitch counts provided any time there is a change.

• Fully written instructions are accompanied by charts, with a separate set of enlarged charts that have darker grid lines, so knitters of different visual abilities will have a choice.

• Helpful tips: The pattern includes instructions for correcting a missed yarn over (we all make mistakes!), links for fixing a dropped edge stitch, and links for using lifelines, which make it much easier to go back and fix your knitting, if necessary.

• The pattern includes closeup photos of each stitch pattern so you'll always know you're on track.

• Sizing choices: The pattern provides specific instructions for increasing or decreasing the size of the shawl if you wish.

• Pattern support:  If you ever have questions regarding the pattern, I’m always available via email and here to help if you get stuck!

This pattern has been tech edited and test knitted to give you a smooth, error-free knitting experience. Thank you to tech editor Kephren Pritchett and fabulous testers Denise, Petra, Carol, Jeanne, and Laura.

I like to include knitters with a variety of experience levels in my test knitting groups. To get notification about future test knitting opportunities, join the Softyarn Designs newsletter.
