Dimensions: 44”/110 cm circumference and 6”/15 cm wide.

Difficulty: Beginner. The stitch pattern is easy to learn. This cowl is worked in the round. Skills: knit, purl, slip.

Gauge: 16 sts and 20 rows to 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch

Yarn: Approximately 150 grams/190 yards/175 meters of bulky yarn. The sample was worked with Malabrigo Mecha, a 100% wool yarn with 130 yards/ 100 grams, in the color Arco Iris.

Needles: US 10/6.0 mm and US 9/5.5 mm circular needles or size needed to achieve gauge plus one size smaller.
This cowl is worked in the round; a 32” circular needle was used for the sample.

Other tools/ notions: Stitch marker for beginning of round. Yarn needle.
